A High-Level National Anti-Bullying Roundtable will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Conference Hall of the Asfari Institute, American University of Beirut. Organized by Rise Above Bullying in collaboration with the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship, this gathering marks an important step toward planning and launching a National Anti-Bullying Action Plan in Lebanon, bringing together key stakeholders to address and combat bullying nationwide.

For the International Day of Older Persons (Oct 1), we partnered with UFS to address ageism, a societal bias excluding older adults and affecting social participation and mental health. A video highlighting older persons’ experiences was produced, fostering inclusion and intergenerational solidarity. The program is ongoing.

Produced with Sabbah Brothers, this podcast engages youth and families on bullying and social awareness. Celebrities share personal experiences of overcoming bullying, inspiring resilience and empathy among young audiences.

Conducted on Mental Health International Day with Posto Nove Studios, this wellness initiative engaged mothers, highlighting their essential role in fostering kindness, support, and positive social behavior.

INTERNATIONAL ANTI-BULLYING DAY

Implemented on 6 November, this nationwide awareness campaign engaged the public through street outreach, flyer distribution, and direct community interaction. The initiative was amplified through billboard advertising across major Beirut zones and at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport, achieving wide visibility and strong public engagement.

The school-based workshops program was launched at the Armenian Evangelical College on 29 November, bringing together parents and teachers to address bullying prevention and response. The session provided practical, effective tools and reinforced the critical role of families and educators in creating safe and inclusive school environments.

The year concluded with an end-of-year board brunch dedicated to recognizing members’ commitment and reflecting on achievements. The gathering also served to align leadership around priorities and strategic direction for 2026, strengthening cohesion and forward planning.
